1 . Where do the children hail from ? How are they selected ?

The children come from the street , slums and broken families. Local churches and other charitable organizations refer a few children. The admissions is completely based on the severity of the case.

2 . Are all the children orphans ?

Approximately 60% of the children are orphans.

3 . How much does it cost to sponsor a child ?

It costs 37$ or 1500 Rupees to sponsor a child monthly.

4 . Does the money go directly to the sponsored child ?

No. As you may not be the sole sponsor, all the money go into a general fund and all children are treated equally.

5 . How can i be sure my donation will be spent well ?

You are free to come and check our work personally.

6 . Where does the money go ?

All donations are completely utilized for the welfare of the children.

7 . How often do i (Sponsor) get to hear from my child ?

Minimum twice a year. The rest depends on how often the sponsor corresponds. All correspondence is routed through our office.

8 . Do the Children maintain their own religion ?

We run the homes with Christian principals and when a child grows he can choose his own religion .

9 . Do the children maintain their own culture ?

We ensure that the child is brought up in their own culture though some good western ideas and concepts are introduced.

10 . How much of my donation goes towards administration ?

About 4% of the total income goes towards administration expenses.
